American President Donald Trump announced he is sending the so-called “border czar” Tom Homan to Minnesota, as he faces mounting pressure – even from Republican Party officials – for a full investigation into the murder of 37-year-old Alex Preti. The case has sparked intense political and social reactions, with the issue becoming the center of public debate. In a post on his Truth Social platform, Trump stated that Tom Homan’s deployment would begin immediately. “Tonight I’m sending Tom Homan to Minnesota. He hasn’t dealt with the area in the past, but he knows and appreciates many of the people there. He’s tough but fair and will report directly to me,” he wrote characteristically.
He also mentioned that “a major investigation is being conducted regarding the massive fraud of over $20 billion that has taken place in Minnesota and is at least partially responsible for the violent organized protests happening in the streets. Additionally, the Department of Justice and Congress are examining ‘Representative’ Ilhan Omar, who left Somalia with NOTHING and now, according to reports, has assets exceeding $44 million. Time will tell. Thank you for your attention to this matter!”
USA: Tom Homan takes charge of ICE operations in Minnesota
White House spokesperson Caroline Levitt was asked about the issue and explained that Tom Homan was sent by the president and “will manage the operations of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) in the field.” Levitt also stated that Tom Homan would coordinate with investigators examining the “massive, extensive fraud that resulted in the theft of billions of dollars from law-abiding Minnesota citizens.” It should be noted that today a federal judge will hear lawyers who have requested a halt to ICE agent operations in Minnesota.
