Gunshots in Australia: “We call on people to follow police instructions”
New South Wales police posted on X: “Anyone in the area must seek shelter.” “We are aware of an active security situation in Bondi. We call on people in the area to follow New South Wales Police instructions,” said a spokesperson for Prime Minister Anthony Albanese.
It remains unknown whether there are fatalities from the attack, while authorities suspect the incident constitutes a terrorist attack.
