Epstein scandal: “Not a big deal,” Trump states
The American president addressed this specific material when questioned during a White House press briefing. “I haven’t seen them, however everyone knew this man, he was everywhere in Palm Beach, he has photos with everyone. I mean there are hundreds of people who have photos with him, it’s not a big deal. I don’t know anything about it,” Trump characteristically said.
One photograph shows a bowl of condoms featuring Donald Trump’s face. There’s a sign reading “Trump Condom $4.50,” while the packaging reads “I’m huuuuge!” Another image shows Trump with six women wearing garlands, whose faces were obscured by the committee. Another shows a pumpkin carved with Donald Trump’s features for Halloween with the inscription “Trumpkin: Make Halloween Great Again.”
It’s noted that the Republican-led House Committee obtained the images from Epstein’s mansion as part of their investigation. So far, the Committee has published tens of thousands of documents, emails and other messages, all from Epstein’s mansion, while committee sources say there are 95,000 photographic files, many depicting Epstein and his powerful friends.
Finally, it’s worth remembering that Trump’s relationship with Epstein is well-known, with the current president saying he had distanced himself from his financier friend before he attracted Justice Department attention. However, in emails, Epstein claimed that Trump “spent hours” with Virginia Giuffre (who is no longer alive) and that he “knew about the girls.”
