A powerful seismic tremor occurred at midday on Monday, December 8th in Japan.
According to initial data, the earthquake that struck northern Japan measured 7.2 on the Richter scale. However, the country’s meteorological service upgraded the magnitude to 7.6 on the Richter scale while simultaneously issuing tsunami warnings.
