Cyprus President Nikos Christodoulides announced a cabinet reshuffle on Friday afternoon, removing Georgios Papanastasiou from the Energy Ministry, whose work had been closely linked to the cable project and the Greece-Cyprus electrical interconnection.
In addition to Georgios Papanastasiou being removed from the ministerial scheme, Giannis Panagiotou is departing from the Labor Ministry, Mr. Chartsiοtis from the Justice Ministry who will assume the role of Presidential Commissioner, and Marilena Evangelou is leaving the Deputy Ministry of Welfare.
At the Health Ministry, Mr. Damianos will be replaced by Neophytos Charalambides, while Mr. Konstantinos Fytiris will replace Mario Chartsiοtis.
