Through a legislative initiative, the path is opening for the Eleusis shipyard area to be transformed into a hub for port, commercial, energy and defense services, Development Minister Takis Theodorikakos emphasized on Parapolitika 90.1.
Mr. Theodorikakos spoke of a significant investment in the region and the creation of thousands of new jobs.
He estimated that after the investment, American interest will increase further.
Additionally, he announced a trip to the US while stating that discussions have taken place on the critical research and technology sector, for which Greece is developing partnerships with the US.
Finally, he called on the opposition to vote in Parliament for the bill establishing the new Consumer Protection Authority.
