“It is wonderful to know you, God bless you,” said Kimberly Guilfoyle during her highly symbolic meeting with Archbishop Ieronymos in their dialogue together. Ms. Guilfoyle’s visit to the Archbishopric of Athens came during a period of strengthening Greek-American relations, while she is simultaneously the first female US Ambassador to Greece to meet with Mr. Ieronymos.
For his part, Mr. Ieronymos welcomed the US Ambassador, wished her “to have a good time in Greece” and expressed the hope that their meeting would be productive.

As reported by ERT, this is the first meeting that Guilfoyle had with the primate of the Greek Orthodox Church, while she mentioned that it is an “honor and blessing” and she looks forward to “a fruitful relationship with the Church“.
As the United States Ambassador said, she will attend liturgical services, while she also referred to her 19-year-old son, who was very happy about her meeting with the Archbishop.
Kimberly Guilfoyle revealed that when she was offered to take on the United States ambassadorship, the first person she called was Archbishop Ieronymos and discussed it with him.
For his part, Mr. Ieronymos welcomed the US Ambassador, wished her “to have a good time in Greece” and expressed the hope that their meeting would be productive.
