The discussion focused on bilateral relations and coordination ahead of the expanded Cyprus meeting under UN auspices and the Cypriot Presidency of the EU Council in the first half of 2026.

Earlier, a Joint Declaration was signed for the representation of the Republic of Cyprus in the Schengen Visa Issuance Sector by the consular authorities of the Hellenic Republic in Third Countries. The Joint Declaration was signed by both ministers, Giorgos Gerapetritis and Konstantinos Kombos.
