Zappeion: Tomorrow’s Transatlantic Energy Summit
The Transatlantic Energy Summit will take place on Thursday at the Zappeion, with participation from the two American secretaries, their counterparts from EU member states, and top executives from energy giants. The focus will be on energy security, independence from Russian natural gas, and Greece’s role as a key gateway for American LNG to the European market.
Overall, four ministers from the Trump administration, 25 European energy ministers, and approximately 300 representatives from major energy companies from Europe, America, and Australia are expected to participate in the summit.
As government officials emphasize, this international participation confirms that Greece is now at the center of energy developments and at the forefront of Europe’s effort for energy autonomy and independence from Russian natural gas.
