Course of Freedom leader Zoe Konstantopoulou sent a clear message from the parliament podium during debate on the amendment concerning the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier monument.
“On October 28th, the parade will take place at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier. The mayor has invited all political leaders. I will be there with all the children and relatives. We will be there in defiance of this unconstitutional amendment,” Konstantopoulou stated emphatically.
Dimas on Konstantopoulou: “We’ve seen many self-proclaimed defenders of Democracy”
“I don’t know if Mr. Mitsotakis wants to arrest us, or if the President of the Republic will rush to issue an official gazette,” Zoe Konstantopoulou added, insisting that on the anniversary day, she will contribute her part to defending Democracy. “We’ve seen many self-proclaimed defenders of Democracy. We don’t forget how Parliament functioned in 2015…” was the comment from Infrastructure Minister Christos Dimas.
