Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis visited the new, modern indoor sports center of Nea Penteli today, one year after the devastating 2024 fire that had reduced the building to ashes. The project was completed in record time, with the goal of returning to residents and local sports clubs a safe and fully equipped sports facility. As previously announced, GEK TERNA undertook responsibility for the complete restoration of the gymnasium.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by government spokesperson Pavlos Marinakis, Health Minister Adonis Georgiadis, Labor Minister Adonis Georgiadis, Interior Minister Thodoris Livanios, and Deputy Development Minister Zoe Rapti.
