As he presented with relevant charts, the price in 2023 was €1.37 per liter, in 2024 it was €1.16, and this year it stands at €1.10 per liter. In regional areas, prices were €1.40 in 2023 and now reach €1.13 per liter. The Prime Minister characterized the reduction as “another small victory in the battle against high prices,” while noting that the government provides €200 million in annual heating subsidies to households with higher consumption and increased need for state support.
