A working meeting took place on Thursday (09/10) regarding the implementation of the electric grid connection between Greece and Cyprus GSI, between Stavros Papastavrou, Minister of Environment and Energy, and Giorgos Papanastasiou, Minister of Energy, Commerce and Industry of Cyprus. The meeting was held in the presence of Nikos Tsafos, Deputy Minister of Environment and Energy, and Stavros Avgoustidis, Ambassador of Cyprus to Greece.
The meeting was conducted in an excellent atmosphere between the officials, and during the discussion, the next steps for the project were decided in line with the direction recently set by Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis and President of the Republic of Cyprus Nikos Christodoulides.
