Papastavrou on cable: ADMIE has already paid 300 million, there are constantly conflicting messages from Cyprus
As he said, the project has already cost 300 million euros, which ADMIE has paid, while there are constantly conflicting messages from Cyprus.
“The national interest is the truth,” noted the Environment and Energy Minister, pointing out that the Cypriot Finance Minister questions the project’s viability, referring to two studies, while Greece and Cyprus have already signed a cooperation memorandum and project implementation has begun.
He stressed the need to resolve a series of reservations and announced a meeting with his Cypriot counterpart to discuss all pending issues.
