The Minister of Citizen Protection, Michalis Chrysochoidis, held a meeting with European Chief Prosecutor Laura Kövesi, in the presence of the Chief of Hellenic Police Lieutenant General Dimitrios Mallios, Head of the Executive Office of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office Milan Jaron, and Greek European Prosecutor Nikolaos Paschalis.
Chrysochoidis-Kovesi meeting: What they agreed on
During the meeting, the close cooperation between the Hellenic Police services and the European Public Prosecutor’s Office was confirmed, as well as the further strengthening of collaboration on matters of mutual interest.
Ms. Kövesi specifically praised the significant contribution of the Hellenic Police in combating organized crime.
Finally, the minister emphasized that the Hellenic Police services remain at the disposal of the European Public Prosecutor’s Office for any investigations that may be decided upon.
