On the sidelines of the 80th UN General Assembly in New York, Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis held significant meetings with the UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, Lockheed Martin President Michael Williamson, and ExxonMobil Vice President John Ardill.

With Dr. Sultan Al Jaber, the UAE’s satisfaction with investments in Greece was confirmed, along with their intention to become “regional champions” in their sectors. With the Lockheed Martin President, close cooperation was confirmed along with smooth progress on F-16 upgrade programs and F-35 integration. In discussions with the ExxonMobil Vice President, energy cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean was the focal point.
