The members of PASOK-Movement for Change on the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee for OPEKEPE are requesting through a letter that a series of documents be sent immediately to the Committee before the start of the witness examination process.

To: The Chairman of the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee “for the investigation of all issues that have arisen regarding the operation of the Payments and Control Agency for Guidance and Guarantee Community Aid (O.P.E.K.E.P.E), with a view to highlighting any responsibilities and restoring the credibility of the agricultural aid payment system, so that it constitutes a reliable, effective and fair mechanism for all producers in the country” Mr. Andreas Nikolakopoulos
Subject: Request for document submission to the OPEKEPE Parliamentary Inquiry Committee, in view of the start of the witness calling procedure with the recent Presidents of the Organization first
Mr. Chairman,
In order to make possible the basic examination of the first witnesses on Wednesday and Thursday, September 24 and 25, 2025, we request that the following documents be sent immediately to the Committee, reserving the right to search for supplementary documents and submit our list on September 23 as decided yesterday by the Parliamentary Inquiry Committee.
1. The document — Ares(2025)6332310 of August 4, 2025 from the DIRECTORATE-GENERAL FOR AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT of the EUROPEAN COMMISSION which clearly states that “the Commission may issue implementing acts for the suspension of monthly payments referred to in Article 21 paragraph 3 or interim payments referred to in Article 32 of the same regulation.”
2. The reference in the same document to the deficiencies of the Action Plan submitted by OPEKEPE following the findings of the compliance procedure with Strategic Plan AA2024/008/GR

Additionally, regarding OPEKEPE supervision, it is essential to send the following:
7. The OPEKEPE supervision decision by Minister of Agricultural Development and Food Mr. Kostas Tsiaras and all actions and documents concerning the Action Plan for OPEKEPE
8. Complaints filed with OPEKEPE from 2019 to date
9. Documents sent to OPEKEPE by authorities (Prosecutor’s Offices and Economic Police) for investigation of irregularity or fraud cases based on investigations conducted from 2019 to date
10. The list of approximately 6,000 blocked tax numbers and which of these have been unblocked and paid.
For the remaining documents that we consider necessary, we will return on September 23, 2025.
