“How much do Androulakis’ ‘generous’ proposals cost? No matter how much PASOK avoids giving answers, citizens know that the country has paid dearly for uncosted programs and irresponsible proposals,” government sources emphasize in their response after the attack by PASOK’s press spokesman, Kostas Tsoukalas, on government spokesman Pavlos Marinakis.
“Mr. Marinakis, we understand your anxiety and panic. No matter how much you try to cling to power with lies, the countdown to political change has begun,” Kostas Tsoukalas said, among other things, following Pavlos Marinakis’ statements.
Government sources against Tsoukalas: Their response after the attack on Pavlos Marinakis
The PASOK press spokesman’s response had many words, more nerves but no substance. Mr. Tsoukalas could not find a single word to answer the very simple question: “How much do Mr. Androulakis’ ‘generous’ proposals cost?” No matter how much PASOK avoids giving answers, citizens know that the country has paid dearly for uncosted programs and irresponsible proposals.
Tsoukalas to Marinakis: “The countdown to political change has begun”
“Mr. Marinakis never tires of miscalculating measures, denouncing them and then after a while coming back to announce them as “measures of the New Democracy government“.
He said the same things last year in his announcement, when PASOK proposed abolishing personal tax differences and reducing tax rates. When criticism is exercised on a proposal, it matters to see who is making it. This government is completely unreliable in everything. Hand in hand with lies and propaganda.
Their panic is evident after Androulakis’ speech. Against their failed policies and the fragmentary measures announced by the Prime Minister for vote-hunting reasons, Nikos Androulakis presented a complete governance program centered on state reform, productive reconstruction that will boost economic competitiveness, the will to clash with established interests and of course major reforms in favor of the social majority.
Now it is time for the government to answer: does it agree with transparency and meritocracy in the state ensured by the new ASEP or will the party of political appointees continue at the expense of public interest? Will it accept the ceiling on direct assignments or will it whistle indifferently in the face of phenomena of squandering state money?
Will it accept protection of primary residences and control of the recklessness of funds and servicers or will it continue to act as traffic warden for vested interests?
Will it finally support collective labor agreements so that working people can receive the dividend they deserve from the results of economic development?
Why does it disagree with 120 installments to tax authorities and insurance funds for small and medium enterprises? Why has it set a goal to destroy small and medium entrepreneurship?
Mr. Marinakis, we understand your anxiety and panic. No matter how much you try to cling to power with lies, the countdown to political change has begun. And one last thing: Mr. Marinakis should not pretend to be ignorant. Kyriakos Mitsotakis placed the National Intelligence Service under his supervision, which refuses to comply and execute the decision of the country’s supreme court. He essentially approved a state service to act illegally“.
