At the Parapolitika Group pavilion at the Thessaloniki International Fair, Deputy Minister to the Prime Minister and Government Spokesman Pavlos Marinakis spoke on Parapolitika 90.1 radio with Thanasis Fouskidis and Penny Avramidis about the Prime Minister’s planned announcements regarding tax measures and tackling tax evasion.
Marinakis on Parapolitika 90.1: Tax reductions with emphasis on families with children – Good news for freelancers too
As he emphasized, “Today the Prime Minister will announce a series of tax reliefs, both indirect and direct, with permanent characteristics. We will have tax reductions, with emphasis on those who have children.” He underlined that the Mitsotakis government tackled tax evasion to boost treasury revenues, while adding that there will be announcements for freelancers too, who will hear good news regarding taxation.
Regarding former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, he stated: “It’s unfair to society to be dealing with yesterday instead of today and tomorrow. We have democracy and whoever wants to return will be judged by the citizens.” He also emphasized: “Truth is not toxic – pointing out that a politician legislated the largest prison release is not an attack, but a recording of facts.”
