Sebi Voloudaki: The timeline of the attack on her political office – “They will not silence me”
The political office of Deputy Minister Sebi Voloudaki became the target of hooded attackers in the early hours of Friday morning. The incident was revealed by the minister herself while speaking at the Committee on Public Administration, Public Order and Justice during the discussion of the immigration bill.
The deputy minister denounced that “the usual suspects in hoods” vandalized her office and wrote slogans, including phrases stating they have “open accounts” with those who provide cover. “Such behavior will not make me stay silent or stop expressing what the citizens of Chania elected me for,” declared Sebi Voloudaki. The vandalism was also condemned by the Committee’s president, Tasos Bartzokas, noting that Democracy has strong means that are not related to violence.
