The construction and acquisition of 13 microsatellites that will be used -among other things- for security, border protection and defense against natural disasters, was announced by Kyriakos Mitsotakis, through a video on TikTok.
It should be noted that the Prime Minister emphasized the fact that the microsatellite components are manufactured in Greece by engineers who returned to our country for this purpose.

Yesterday at ICEYE, we saw the first two microsatellites, which will be launched very soon. Important parts of them are manufactured in Greece by Greek female and male engineers, some of whom even returned to the country for this purpose.
