Government sources are making pointed criticisms against PASOK following an announcement from Charilaou Trikoupi street regarding private universities in Greece. As they state: “Today, apart from the National Authority for Higher Education, we learned that Charilaou Trikoupi also has the ambition to certify universities. Finally, PASOK decided to reverse its position and accept that ETHEAE constitutes a truly independent authority. Thank goodness,” the government sources initially note.
“For Nikos Androulakis to attack some universities and not others is strange at best”
They continue: “We repeat: the announcements to be made concern which proposals are ready to start now. Not which ones will start overall. There are no longer building or operational issues that need to be resolved, which highlights the quality safeguards of the law. This is exactly what PASOK accused of not being true, and now invokes as an argument.
Finally, we repeat the following: for Nikos Androulakis to attack some universities and not others is strange at best.”
