Parliament Speaker Nikitas Kaklamanis addressed the tension that occurred at the Presidential Palace between political leaders during President Konstantinos Tasoulas’ reception commemorating the anniversary of Democracy’s restoration.
“In the first part, Mr. Tasoulas explained the Palace’s energy upgrade to us. In the second part, there was a political clash regarding the intensity of the political climate when the political leaders gathered,” Parliament Speaker Nikitas Kaklamanis revealed today.

Speaking on OPEN TV, Mr. Kaklamanis also addressed Zoe Konstantopoulou’s references against Konstantinos Tasoulas. “Mrs. Konstantopoulou is lying about what she said regarding Mr. Tasoulas. No case files remained in drawers.”
At another point, he expressed MPs’ frustration, noting that while they speak in Parliament, they don’t make the news, but if a fight breaks out, it becomes front-page news.
