Reactions quickly spread on platform X, with some users even raising concerns about surveillance — one user urging him to take the glasses off when speaking with people, arguing that “citizens don’t want to be filmed.” The backlash prompted Georgiadis to respond publicly. However, there is no evidence that he was actually recording anyone, as the glasses would have given a clear signal with a blinking indicator light. The accusation that he was secretly filming citizens, therefore, does not appear to hold up.
