In sharp tones, Zoe Konstantopoulou continued her fierce attack on the government today, with the leader of Plefsi Eleftherias (Course of Freedom) persisting in her rhetoric following yesterday’s incidents that occurred in parliament.
“Yesterday was a black and historic day because for 57 deaths and dozens of injuries, New Democracy orchestrated the criminal responsibilities of Karamanlis and Mitsotakis. Mitsotakis is the one responsible. It was done with provocative orchestration to refer Karamanlis for a misdemeanor. At a time when the investigation speaks of felonies. It’s a punch to the public sentiment of society,” said the leader of Plefsi Eleftherias speaking to OPEN today.
Konstantopoulou: I said too little about Tasoulas – Mitsotakis made him President of the Republic to control the political system and Justice
Regarding yesterday’s confrontation, she commented:
“There’s a confrontation every time to prevent me from saying what needs to be heard. Georgiadas, who put on the show, is involved in the OPEKEPE scandal. He’s logically among those who fell into the scandal. Since he hasn’t said anything, in my opinion, he’s controlled. The next day when they said I spoke for 14 minutes, Minister Kyranakis had 18 minutes and spoke for 49. I’m not there to keep quiet, I’m there to speak. There’s no abuse on our part.”
Asked about Kostas Tasoulas and the characterizations against him, she commented:
“I said too little about the President of the Republic. He has done the dirty work for Mitsotakis. If the person doesn’t embody the institution, I won’t sanctify him. Tasoulas is a dark figure. Mitsotakis made him President to control the political system and Justice. He’s a misogynist, he has made terrible attacks against me.”
Regarding the investigation into the OPEKEPE scandal, she mentioned:
“We will vote for the establishment of the investigative committee and we will request Kyriakos Mitsotakis as the first witness.”
