Kyriakos Mitsotakis has arrived in Ankara to participate in the NATO Summit. The Greek Prime Minister arrived in the Turkish capital after 19:00, accompanied by his wife Mareva Mitsotakis, where they were welcomed by Turkish officials as well as the Greek Ambassador to Ankara, Theodoros Bizakis. The Greek Prime Minister arrived shortly before 20:00 at the Presidential Complex (White Palace), where he and his wife were received by Erdoğan alongside his wife, Emine.
The Prime Minister is attending the gala dinner hosted by Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and his wife for all NATO leaders. The full Summit is set to take place tomorrow, with Greece attending “with the confidence of a strong and reliable ally — one that not only consistently honors its commitments, but stands at the forefront of Alliance members already delivering on the targets agreed upon in The Hague,” according to government sources.
