Former Prime Minister Antonis Samaras is officially revealing his cards from Crete, with all eyes focused on the possibility of announcing a new political party following a period of sharp criticism against the New Democracy government under Kyriakos Mitsotakis. Specifically, Mr. Samaras is delivering his speech in Heraklion, Crete, inaugurating the “Noema-Crete” discussion series with the theme: “Challenges and prospects for tomorrow’s Greece“.
Latest information suggests that after his speech, the former Prime Minister will also take questions. Therefore, he will be asked about his intentions regarding the creation of a new party and will respond. Earlier today, leaving his meeting with Crete Regional Governor Stavros Arnaoutakis, Mr. Samaras was asked by journalists if a new party is imminent and meaningfully replied: “We’ll discuss everything else this afternoon“.
