PASOK-Movement for Change sharply commented on the statements made by Justice Minister Georgios Floridis. The Justice Minister had earlier turned his fire against the party and its leader, Nikos Androulakis, regarding the stance of the main opposition on the amendment concerning university asylum.
PASOK against Floridis: He shouldn’t worry about how we’ll govern
Specifically, during his interview on Action 24 he had stated: “How will Androulakis govern by shouting ‘present’? What ‘present’, my friend?” said the Justice Minister. As he added: “The country is not governed by saying ‘present’, but with responsibility, boldness and decisiveness”.
In an announcement from PASOK’s Press Office it states: “Mr. Floridis shouldn’t worry about how PASOK will govern. He’d better start worrying about where he’ll invest his political opportunism, now that New Democracy’s days are ending and it’s certain that he’ll miss his ministerial chair”.
