Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis addressed the new Collective Labor Agreement signed for the food service industry in a video posted on social media. “If you work in hospitality, this affects you,” the prime minister stated, presenting the positive changes the new collective agreement brings to the sector. “We’re talking about increases from 6% to 25% above minimum wage,” Mr. Mitsotakis emphasized among other points.

“If you work in hospitality, this video is for you. And if you don’t work in the sector, send it to a friend who does,” he begins. “A new Collective Labor Agreement has been signed in food service. What does this mean in simple terms: Wage increases,” he notes.
“We’re talking about increases from 6% to 25% above minimum wage,” he claims, adding that “now the minimum wage in hospitality is set at: From €930 to €1,100 + allowances, such as 10% for seasonal work and up to 15% for tourism training.”
