Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis posted a TikTok video marking six years in office as the country’s leader. Opening his message, the prime minister noted that his hair has turned gray but he is now more experienced and equally determined to honor the decision of the Greek people.
Looking back on his tenure, he emphasized that international conditions have become more difficult, but despite this, Greece has made progress.
The prime minister highlighted the reduction in unemployment, the return of many Greeks from abroad to their homeland, the strengthening of the armed forces, the fight against tax evasion, and the digitization of the state.
He then promised that the government will do even more in the future, responding to the expectations of many people he has met during this journey.
“Many things still need to change in our country and I will continue to fight for these,” he said characteristically.
Concluding his message, he noted that he draws strength “from the moments when we as Greeks felt proud,” but does not forget the difficult times, stating that “I do not avoid responsibility and I am always here to continue fighting with all my strength, striving for the best.”

@kyriakosmitsotakis_ In July 2019, you entrusted me as Prime Minister of Greece. Six years later, I continue to serve with all my strength toward one goal: a Greece that is stronger, more just, more modern. And a better life for every Greek woman and every Greek man.
