Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis issued his own message of solidarity and support following the deadly accident in Romania. “I was deeply shocked to learn of the tragic accident in Romania that cost the lives of 7 young fellow Greeks. The Greek government and our Embassy are in immediate cooperation with local authorities, providing all possible support,” the Prime Minister wrote in his post, expressing his condolences to the victims’ families.
“In these difficult times, together with all Greek women and men, I express my most sincere condolences to the relatives of the victims and to the PAOK family. With our shared wish that the injured recover quickly. Our thoughts are with them.”
