Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met with his Israeli counterpart, Benjamin Netanyahu, in Jerusalem earlier today. The meeting took place within the framework of the trilateral diplomatic summit between Israel, Greece, and Cyprus, which Netanyahu is hosting at the David Citadel hotel in Jerusalem.
According to the Jerusalem Post, citing an announcement from the Israeli Prime Minister’s press office, Netanyahu and Mitsotakis “held a private meeting, which was followed by expanded talks with the participation of the foreign ministers of both countries, as well as other senior officials“.
The meeting was preceded by an earlier encounter in Ramallah between Mitsotakis and Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas.
