US Ambassador Kimberly Guilfoyle reaffirmed her commitment to strengthening trade and investment relations between Greece and the United States during a meeting with members of the Greek and American business communities in Thessaloniki. The official dinner was organized by the Hellenic American Chamber of Commerce (AmCham), as part of the new Ambassador’s first visit to Northern Greece.
Guilfoyle recognized Northern Greece as a hub of investment interest for the United States, noting that the region hosts some of the most dynamic American investments in the country – particularly in the sectors of innovation, technology, digital transformation and education.
At the center of the discussion were new business partnerships that can boost development, increase competitiveness and create new jobs, working to the benefit of both countries. The US Ambassador emphasized that she will continue to support initiatives that strengthen business connections between Athens and Washington, expanding opportunities for Greek and American companies seeking to invest and grow in the broader region.
