The US Ambassador to Greece Kimberly Guilfoyle visited the Ministry of Health for Minister Adonis Georgiadis‘ press conference regarding the Digital Assistant, today, Monday (24/11) at noon.
During the press conference, a collaboration between the NHS and the ministry with a major US company was announced, which will install an Artificial Intelligence system in emergency departments (EDs) of hospitals across the country, enabling faster service for incoming patients.
“In the healthcare sector, Artificial Intelligence will have widespread application and we want Greece to be among the first countries,” noted Adonis Georgiadis, presenting the introduction of artificial intelligence tools to the National Health System (NHS) for better citizen services.
