One of the three suspects arrested for the death of a 58-year-old man in Neos Kosmos has confessed to authorities that he beat the victim. According to sources, the 29-year-old reportedly told police that he attacked the 58-year-old because he blocked his way. The case also involves two other individuals and the 29-year-old’s father, who attempted to hide his son’s motorcycle. The unfortunate 58-year-old was found severely injured in his car with head trauma. He was immediately transported to Evangelismos Hospital, where he died shortly after. Initial reports suggested the man had suffered cardiac arrest before or after crashing into a parked vehicle, however the autopsy revealed he had been brutally beaten.

“They chased him and he got trapped in a dead end,” witness reveals shocking details about 58-year-old’s death
The details of the mysterious death case in Neos Kosmos are becoming increasingly shocking, involving a man found unconscious after losing control of his vehicle. An eyewitness spoke to ERT and described scenes resembling a chase through the streets of Neos Kosmos: “I was on Soulie Street yesterday afternoon. It looked like a chase. The car passed with motorcycles behind it, without stopping at stop signs, nothing – it seemed like a chase to us. At first we thought police were chasing someone. In fact, it passed twice in front of us on Soulie Street. The first time it went towards Gerantoni Street, made a circle, came down Raftopoulo Street and through Saranti Street again to Soulie Street, which is a dead end. At the same speed. All three arrested suspects – two Greeks and one Albanian – have previously been involved with authorities for various crimes. “There are two individuals on whom the police investigation has focused. A young Greek man who has been found to have been charged with thefts, robberies and burglaries,” journalist Vasilis Lambropoulos says about the case. Regarding the suspect of Albanian origin: “He was charged and arrested just days ago again for beating an unsuspecting car driver in central Athens. He has caused bodily harm.”

Security camera footage has captured the two motorcycles chasing the 58-year-old driver. As shown in the images presented by Live News, the white car with the 58-year-old passes first through the area, followed at high speed by the two motorcycles at close distance. It is believed that the incident between the perpetrators and the driver began earlier at another location. The 58-year-old tries to get away, however the perpetrators chase him wanting to continue the confrontation.
