Police are awaiting the forensic examination results to determine the actual cause of death of a 58-year-old man who died, possibly from cardiac arrest, following a traffic accident yesterday, Monday afternoon, in Neos Kosmos. There are witness testimonies being investigated by police suggesting that the 58-year-old driver had an altercation shortly before with two motorcycle passengers, who allegedly punched him.

There are some head injuries on the victim that are believed to have possibly been caused by a beating. However, the forensic examination, which will likely take place later today, will provide the answers. The 58-year-old man’s body has not yet been transferred to the Forensic Service, which is expected to happen within the next hour.
According to the incident record so far, the 58-year-old man crashed his car into a parked vehicle on Soulie Street and was found dead by passersby. One block earlier, according to local residents, he was seen arguing with two motorcycle passengers over a right-of-way issue.
Security camera footage has already been extracted from recording devices and is being examined by Traffic Police officers in an attempt to uncover the truth about what really happened. Police have already taken statements from eyewitnesses, and it was confirmed that the 58-year-old man had no prior criminal record.
