A 17-year-old girl in Agrinio ended up in the hospital after consuming alcohol at a city bar on Saturday evening, November 15th. According to reports, the minor visited the establishment where she consumed alcoholic beverages, resulting in intoxication and immediate transport to Agrinio General Hospital for emergency medical care.
Police intervention at the bar
Officers from the Crime Detection and Investigation Sub-Directorate of Agrinio arrived at the scene, where they located the bar owner and proceeded with his arrest. Criminal charges were filed against him for violating legislation protecting minors from tobacco and alcohol products.
The arrested individual is expected to appear before the Public Prosecutor of Aitoloakarnania, while police continue investigating the circumstances under which the minor consumed alcohol inside the establishment.
