On Thursday evening (13/11), a 40-year-old man was arrested after being involved in a car accident on the provincial road Pachis – Megara, causing property damage and then fleeing the scene.

Breathalyzer showed 1.70 mg/l for the 40-year-old driver
Police officers from the 3rd Traffic Department of West Attica located the man, whose driver’s license had been revoked after being caught driving under the influence of alcohol twice within the past year. A breathalyzer test revealed he had a reading of 1.70 mg/l.
The driver was also imposed an administrative fine of 2,200 euros.
Criminal charges were filed against him for dangerous driving, driving under the influence of alcohol, hit-and-run violation, and driving without a valid license. The arrested individual was brought before the competent prosecutor.
