Video footage has emerged showing the criminal activities of a 34-year-old man who was arrested in Agios Dimitrios for robberies targeting store employees. Criminal charges have been filed against him for serial robberies and conspiracy, as well as weapons law violations, while an additional 42-year-old was arrested for harboring a criminal, violence against employees, and conspiracy to commit robbery.

How police tracked down the 34-year-old serial robber
Following an investigation into recorded robberies that occurred over the past month in the areas of Agios Dimitrios, Dafni, and other neighboring areas targeting employees of convenience stores, kiosks, and pharmacies, a special police unit was formed by the Crime Investigation Department of Dafni-Ymittos. Through combined evaluation of intelligence data and evidence, they identified the 34-year-old as the perpetrator and confirmed his criminal activity.
Specifically, in the early morning hours of June 30, 2025, the aforementioned officers conducting an operation to arrest the 34-year-old suspect located the 42-year-old outside a residence in the Agios Dimitrios area and called him for inspection.
Upon seeing the police officers, the 42-year-old began shouting to alert the 34-year-old about the police presence, while concealing the fact that the 34-year-old was inside the residence, attempting to make his detection more difficult.
Subsequently, during a search conducted at the residence, the 34-year-old suspect was located and arrested, while clothing he used to commit the robberies was found in his possession and confiscated.
Areas targeted by the 34-year-old robber
As revealed by the investigation, over the past month the 34-year-old, either alone or jointly – depending on the case – with the 42-year-old or with another Greek woman who has been identified and is being sought, committed robberies using knife threats or physical violence against employees of convenience stores, kiosks, and pharmacies, stealing cash amounts.
The preliminary investigation has so far solved 11 robbery cases in Dafni, Neos Kosmos, Nea Smyrni, and Agios Dimitrios.
It should be noted that the 34-year-old has previously been involved with authorities for numerous crimes.
The arrested individuals were brought before the competent prosecutor.
