A serious domestic violence incident occurred on Wednesday morning in the Platani area of Kos, where a 79-year-old man of Muslim origin attacked his wife, verbally abused her and injured her with a knife. According to information from ERT South Aegean, the elderly man is reported to have also threatened his son-in-law, who lives in the same house.

Domestic violence incident in Kos: 79-year-old arrested
The perpetrator’s daughter went to the Kos Police Station and reported the incident to the Domestic Violence Department. Authorities were immediately mobilized and proceeded to arrest the 79-year-old. A case file was formed against him for domestic violence and threats, bodily harm and violation of weapons legislation
