Once again, a well-known YouTuber who has troubled authorities in the recent past finds himself facing criminal charges. According to information sources, 36-year-old M.Z. was arrested by officers from the Anti-Racist Violence Department of State Security.
The same sources report that the police operation took place early Friday evening (17/10) and the YouTuber was brought to Athens Police Headquarters. According to what has become known, the case concerns content shared in TikTok videos, which fall under anti-racism legislation.
According to information, the 36-year-old was expected to be transferred this morning to the competent prosecutor, as part of criminal prosecution proceedings.
The YouTuber has caused controversy before in the recent past, as a series of videos he had posted on the popular online platform came under scrutiny, along with behaviors that were sometimes broadcast live, which appeared to reference abuse. For that case, the 36-year-old had been declared a temporary detainee and in the first-instance trial, he was acquitted.
