A new tragedy occurred early Thursday morning, October 16th, on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue, just before the American Embassy, when a truck collided with a motorcycle, resulting in the fatal injury of the young rider. According to information from local media in Lamia, the victim – Antonis Tatsis – was originally from the city in Fthiotida and served in the Air Force as a mechanic, in a unit in Athens.

Traffic accident on Vasilissis Sofias Avenue: Transported with serious injuries to hospital
After the traffic accident, he was transported with serious injuries to a hospital, however despite the doctors’ efforts, he could not be kept alive.
