In contrast, the first two bullets instantly took the life of his uncle inside the camping site’s customer reception office. The second shot was even the so-called “coup de grace” – the perpetrator approached and shot him from close range in the head, almost point-blank. The other three bullets hit the unfortunate supervisor and close friend of the co-owner from behind.

The alleged killer claimed he threw his mobile phone into a sewer to prevent any trace that would reveal his movements, while his motorcycle has not been located so far. The presence of the nephew at the Homicide Department offices proved decisive, as he confidently identified the 22-year-old young man with a British mother and Greek father as the killer. He is a neighbor of the 22-year-old alleged perpetrator, and their acquaintance spans years.
