Agios Panteleimonas: The shocking testimony of the 48-year-old injured victim
The incident occurred just hours ago in Agios Panteleimonas, with initial reports suggesting personal disputes as the motive. An injured man, a 48-year-old foreign national, rushed to call the authorities, reportedly stating that four individuals broke into the first-floor apartment on Serafi Street and beat him, as well as a 31-year-old, also a foreign national. Officers from the Z Team arrived at the scene and found that the first victim had head injuries. Upon entering the apartment, they discovered the 31-year-old in terrible condition, brutally beaten and unconscious. According to police sources, the 48-year-old claimed that he was also tied up in the same manner (with cable ties), but managed to free himself and call the police. Authorities are examining the credibility of his initial testimony.
Sources report that no signs of forced entry were found in the apartment (on doors and windows), which may suggest different circumstances than initially reported. Additionally, according to information, numerous electronic devices were found in the apartment and investigations are underway to determine their origin. Paramedics were called and confirmed the death of the 31-year-old, while the other foreign national was transferred to Evangelismos Hospital. The two tragic protagonists of this case are reportedly Polish nationals of Ukrainian origin. Police are already seeking testimonies from neighbors of the victims, as well as security camera footage to track the movements of the perpetrators and reveal their identities.
