Police officers from the Attica Traffic Directorate arrested a 52-year-old driver after discovering he was driving under the influence of alcohol, resulting in him crashing into 13 parked vehicles on Fylis Street in central Athens.
The drunk driver was arrested yesterday afternoon (6/10), and is being charged with dangerous driving and driving under the influence of alcohol. Officers from the Athens Traffic Subdivision immediately conducted a breathalyzer test on the 52-year-old driver and determined that he was under the influence of alcohol with a test result of 0.97mg/l against the legal limit of 0.25 mg/l in exhaled breath.
Drunk driver arrested on Fylis Street: Had no driving license
It’s worth noting that the driver on Fylis Street had no driving license and was issued a relevant administrative fine, while he was taken to the competent prosecutor, where he is expected to answer for his actions.
