Shocking footage from the attempted murder of a 38-year-old man in his garden in Drosia has come to light, with the perpetrator remaining at large.

The man suddenly found himself face to face with the gunman who had ambushed him and, after the bloody incident, managed to drive himself to the “Red Cross” hospital with serious injuries to his leg and spine. The incident occurred at 06:27 when the victim was leaving his house.

The perpetrator, wearing a hood, pulled a gun from inside his jacket, while the 38-year-old was caught off guard, lost his balance and fell into bushes. Without hesitation, the gunman raised his weapon and opened fire, with footage from the security cameras the victim had installed in his garden causing shock. With a trembling voice, the 38-year-old can be heard shouting “no, what are you doing” as he was being shot at and fighting for his life.
Although it was dawn, the neighborhood was stirred into action. Police would arrive soon, but the damage was already done. During the night, a neighbor heard the gunshots, as he described exclusively to Live News.
“Around 6:20 or 6:30, I won’t lie about the time, I heard four gunshots, the first one isolated at the beginning, and I heard someone shouting for help, then another four gunshots and the cries for help stopped.”
Police found three shell casings at the scene. Witness testimonies speak of 6 gunshots. The victim drove himself to the “Red Cross” hospital, having sustained serious injuries to his leg and spine.
Disputes with ex-partner?
According to reports, the victim had a child with a woman from Romania with whom he had separated four years ago. She moved on with her life with a man who, however – according to testimonies – had harassed the 38-year-old several times in the past, and whom the victim named as the perpetrator of the attack.
A family friend of the shooting victim spoke exclusively to Live News, stating: “The one who got together with a suspect over there is a bit of a psycho or drug addict, so she put him up to it.”

-None, they’ve signed everything.
What exactly preceded the chilling attack in the documentary video remains a mystery. Is the hooded man who shoots in cold blood really the current partner of the victim’s ex? Did this woman, who has a child with the victim, and her current boyfriend have reason to want harm to come to the 38-year-old?
Where investigations are focused
So far the perpetrator remains missing, with police waiting for the 38-year-old, who is hospitalized with serious injuries at the “Red Cross,” to recover so he can provide them with more information about his relationship with his ex-partner and her current partner and the disputes between them.
The victim’s ex-partner also remains missing. According to MEGA information, police know where the perpetrator is located, however, the case cannot yet be substantiated as apart from the victim’s testimony, there is insufficient evidence regarding the perpetrator’s identity.
As Live News reveals, this is not the first time the perpetrator has attempted to attack the victim. In the past, he had tried to hit him with a car and had also attempted to break into his house.
