The trial of Vasilis Bisbikis has been postponed to October 8. The actor was involved in a traffic accident in Filothei in the early hours of Saturday (27/9), causing property damage to 10 parked vehicles and one garage door, with the well-known actor subsequently leaving the scene. According to the new Traffic Code, Vasilis Bisbikis is required to pay a fine, while his driving license will also be suspended for a period of time.

The actor is accused of causing damage with his car to parked vehicles in the early hours of Saturday, around 04:00, after a large tsikouda event in Metamorphosis, while passing through streets in Psychiko and Filothei. The erratic path of his vehicle was recorded by home security cameras, through which police managed to trace the vehicle owner’s details.
Vasilis Bisbikis left the scene, however as he stated, he contacted police the next day to report the accident and declare his willingness to cooperate. Greek Police spokesperson Konstantia Dimoglidou denied that such communication occurred from him, while according to newer information, the phone call was made by his associate, who informed authorities about the incident, without confirming whether she revealed the actor’s name.
The deputy director of Attica Traffic Police, Dimitris Papageorgiou, speaking to Mega, emphasized that according to the new Traffic Code, Vasilis Bisbikis will face a €1,200 fine and license suspension for at least one month. In a video published by Mega, his vehicle can be seen moving at very low speed just seconds after the accident.
