Police investigations continue into the incident that occurred on Saturday night (27/9) in Filothei, involving Vasilis Bisbikis, after the actor caused damage with his car to 10 parked vehicles.

The timeline and charges
The actor is accused of causing damage with his car in the early hours of Saturday, around 04:00, while driving through streets in Psychiko and Filothei, to 10 parked cars as well as two residential fences. The reckless path of his vehicle was captured by home security cameras through which police tracked down the vehicle owner’s details.
He was notified by phone by a police officer that he needed to appear at the station to give explanations and claimed he was out of town. However, he immediately declared his willingness to return and appear at the Kifissia station, which happened late yesterday, Sunday (28/9), in the afternoon. Searches had previously been conducted at his home and workplace, but he was not located.
He was caught out by the new Traffic Code
When heading to the Kifissia Police Station, the actor thought he would give a statement and leave. However, the revised Traffic Code had surprises in store for him and the people advising him up to that point that his troubles would end with just a statement.
Based on modifications that have been implemented for almost three weeks now, beyond administrative fines and license suspension, there is also arrest under flagrant offense procedures. As soon as the actor entered the station, he was informed about the procedure to be followed, gave his statement and was expected to undergo an alcohol test. Even 18 hours after the incident, as the law requires.
He was at a party
According to sources, police found that the actor was out with friends that same night at a Cretan party, from which he left in the early morning hours. Several mobile phone camera footage has appeared on the internet showing him having fun at that venue.
There was another person in the car
Additionally, the presence of a second person in the well-known actor’s car is also being investigated. Information suggests another person was in the passenger seat, and it remains to be confirmed by authorities whether this is true.
