Shocking information is coming to light about the tragedy in Igoumenitsa involving the death of an 11-year-old student who was struck by a car.
According to Star, the boy called his mother to pick him up from school because he was experiencing stomach pain. His mother then drove to the school, picked him up, and upon returning, parked her vehicle outside the business she runs with her husband. The 11-year-old then headed toward home.

Just 10 meters from his parents’ store, the boy attempted to cross a pedestrian crossing when he was struck by a car driven by a 56-year-old woman and died instantly.
The vehicle’s driver was arrested and subjected to an alcohol test, however, she had not consumed alcohol. She claimed that the child suddenly appeared in front of her. The same sources report that there is video footage that captured exactly how the tragedy occurred.
