Shocking news emerges from Greece where a woman buried her mother in her backyard, claiming to police that she did it to continue receiving her disability benefits and pension. The incident occurred in the summer of 2023, and since then, the woman had disappeared from the village. Subsequently, a complaint was filed with the Thebes prosecutor and investigations began.
Last Saturday, the 62-year-old presented another woman with health problems as her mother, however she later confessed to police that her real mother had been buried in her backyard with the help of a foreign national, whose identity she did not reveal.
The woman is expected to be brought before the Thebes Prosecutor within the day.
